Owen Hearing Ltd (OHL) was formed by James Owen, our Managing Director. James has previous experience working for various well-known hearing aid companies and has been a qualified hearing aid dispenser for 16 years. In October 2009, James set up OHL to provide an excellent hearing aid service to the Kent and Sussex areas. In August 2010, OHL was joined by Helen Terry, our Business Development Director, to assist with the business development, to provide an excellent hearing service to the Kent & Sussex areas. Helen has previous experience working within the hearing aid industry and has a strong customer service focus. As a Director, Helen likes to be "hands on" and works with staff within the shops and assists customers face-to-face. In September 2010 we acquired The Crowborough Hearing Centre. This store was previously part of another chain; however it then became the management hub for OHL. March 2011 found us acquiring The West Wickham Mobility Store; this was previously an independent outlet. Although our original focus had been in the hearing industry, West Wickham complimented our business plan to have equal exposure to Hearing Aid retailing.OHL are a fast-paced company who are focused on continuing to grow to provide excellent Hearing Aid service to the Kent and Sussex areas.
